With the support of equipment pre-research plan, national high-tech research and development plan, civil aerospace pre-research and National Natural Science Foundation of China, my country's photonic crystal optical fiber and its application technology have made breakthrough progress, independently developed high-precision The first flight of the photonic crystal fiber optic gyroscope on the "Tianzhou-1" cargo spacecraft was a complete success in April 2017. The on-orbit flight test accuracy reached 0.005°/h. This is the first space application of the photonic crystal fiber optic gyroscope in the world.
